I have an account, but I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

No worries! If you’ve already created an account and have forgotten your username or password, the system can email that information to the email address you used when you signed up. Just head to https://powerschool.norridge80.org/public and click on FORGOT USERNAME OR PASSWORD?

Which web browser should I use?

The latest version of Chrome is recommended for the best experience.

Do I need a separate login for each of my children?

Nope! Each child will have a unique AccessID and Password, but you only need to create one account. You can link all of your children’s accounts to your one main login.

What can I see on the PowerSchool site?

Parents can view attendance from the past two weeks or the current quarter, teacher comments, email links to teachers, and more.

Is the system secure?

Absolutely. Your child’s safety and privacy are extremely important to us. The Parent Portal is hosted through PowerSchool, a secure platform. Only authorized school staff and those you share your login information with can access your child’s records.

I have questions about my child’s information in PowerSchool. Who should I talk to?

Start by having a conversation with your child, if appropriate. If you still have questions, please feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher by phone or email.

There’s something in PowerSchool about class registration. Can I use that feature?

How often are grades updated online?

Since Fall 2018, we've switched to standards-based grading, so grades are no longer recorded in PowerSchool. The best way to keep track of your child’s progress is to reach out directly to their teacher.

How do I cancel my Parent Portal account?

If you’d like to deactivate your PowerSchool Parent Portal account, just send an email from the account you registered with to tdicintio@norridge80.net. Please include the school name, your student(s) names, and the homeroom teacher for each student.

I don’t have Internet at home. How can I use the Parent Portal?

No problem! There’s a computer available at each school that parents can use during regular school hours—just stop by the office and someone will help you. You can also use computers at the public library.

The Parent Portal isn’t working right on my device. Can someone help?

Unfortunately, District 80 staff can’t assist with issues on personal devices. But you’re welcome to use the school computers during regular hours—just check in at the office. Public library computers are also available for use.
