We welcome you and your child to Leigh School! We are so excited that your child will be joining us this school year. In kindergarten, your child begins one of the most important journeys of life, the pursuit of a formal education. The kindergarten environment nurtures young children’s natural instinct to learn. In addition to focusing on social and academic readiness skills, the kindergarten curriculum expands children’s knowledge of their environment and stimulates curiosity, imagination, observation, and reasoning. As your child transitions from the preschool and/or home environment to a more structured learning environment, he/she will continue to develop physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively.
