Classroom Expectations		Speak kindly to your classmates and teacher. Listen carefully and follow the teacher’s directions. Don’t tattle or use unacceptable language. Come to school prepared with your homework. Complete all assignments neatly and on time. Be patient and wait your turn to share an idea. Respect your friends and try not to disturb other classmates. Always try your best to be in the class raffle each week!!

Our Class News		The best of wishes to everyone for a healthy and happy holiday season. The Second Grade Elves have been working hard. The class will soon be completing the third reading unit and benchmarking will take place again. The concepts of money and telling time will be covered. Telling time with a clock face always seems to be a concept that needs practice as well as counting coins! Can you please check your child’s art box and school supplies? Many students may need glue, markers, scissors or a new notebook.
Parent Notes		The parent portal is up and running! This is a fantastic way to stay updated and aware of your son or daughters progress. Keep in mind that most work is sent home in the School Work packets which should be reviewed. Grades that are posted do not reflect class participation and extra credit !
