Library Check Out: Students in Kindergarten may check out one book for one week. Students in grades 1 thru 8 may check out two books for two weeks.
Overdue Books and Fines: If books are not returned on their due date; they are considered overdue. Students in grades K thru 2 are not charged overdue fines. The Learning Center charges 10 cents a day per book. Any overdue books must be returned and fines paid before a student can check out any new books. If a student is absent on their library day; the Learning Center automatically renews their books for another two weeks.
Damaged/Lost Books: If books are returned damaged; for example book pages are wet; book pages written on; book pages colored on with crayons or markers; covers of the book torn or missing or pages missing from the book; the student must pay for the book. A book is considered lost if the student has not returned their book after four weeks. Again the student must pay for the book.
