Classroom News!

Our new school year is off and running-

Kindergarten has been learning about color mixing and color theory.

First Grade is reviewing color mixing, and starting watercolor roses.

Second grade is examining the abstract paintings of Wassily Kandinsky.

Third grade is just beginning their woven raffia baskets.

Fourth grade is learning about optical mixing and Georges Seurat.

Fifth grade is starting to examine the tessellations of M.C. Escher.

Junior High is off and running too, with Art I learning about the Elements and Principles of Art, and Art II learning about emphasis and how artists make your eyes go where they want you to go!!
