Response to Intervention
(RtI)

Response to Intervention
(RtI) is the process of systematically assessing student progress, determining
needs, and designing appropriate interventions to meet student needs. This
process helps eliminate the ‘wait to fail’ approach and may eventually lead to
an eligibility determination for special education should a student repeatedly
continue not to respond to scientifically research based intervention programs.
