Grades

Students’ grades are based off of participation and performance in the classroom. Rubrics are used for performance assessments in grades 3-8. In Jr. High, students have a written quiz every Friday. All students receive 3 participation points for each day they demonstrate appropriate behavior and effort. Points are deducted when a student does not demonstrate appropriate behavior and effort. A folder is kept by each student, which contains all of their assessment rubrics. Parents are welcome to come and look at their child’s folder during conferences.
