Absences
It
is very important that you notify the school office when your child is absent
from school. Homeroom attendance is
taken by 9:00 a.m. each morning. It is
most helpful if you call us before then.
You
can call the office at 708-453-4847
between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. during school days or call and leave a message
with the automated attendant when the school is closed. When leaving a message, please include you
child’s full name, grade and room number, day(s) he or she will be absent and a
brief reason for the absence. Homework
requests must be made by 10:00 a.m. so your child’s teacher has time to get the
assignments ready for pickup between 3:15 pm – 4:00 p.m.
