The
school office is open each school day from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Please drop by, or call 708-453-4847 if the
office can be of assistance.
We
must have accurate information to be able to reach parents quickly in the event
of an emergency. Please report any
change of address and/or phone number to the school office immediately.
It
is important to notify the school office when your child is absent from
school. We ask that you call the school
before 8:30 a.m. to report an absence.
You can leave a message on the answering machine whenever the office is
closed. It is also helpful to let the
homeroom teacher/office when you are picking your child
up early.
Please
read all notices your child brings home from school. They contain information that you may wish to
mark on your calendar. The Giles School Newsletter
is published monthly. It contains information about upcoming events, a letter
from the principal, Mr. Kerry Leiby, monthly school calendar, student
recognition and more.
